So, I’ve spent the past week seriously considering whether or not I should start a YouTube channel. The series of hits the platform has taken in the last few months seems to have done lasting damage, and the morale among the creators is low. I’ve spoken about their year of putting advertising before the livelihood of content creators, but I know videos themselves are the future. When social media companies and online retailers are spending billions to ensure they have a future in visual entertainment, there’s probably a lot of money to be made – so though I have my head down focusing on my writing, I’m starting to wonder if branching out would be as profitable for me as it may be for them.
I was beginning to give the idea second thoughts, wondering if I was better off working on my fiction, until I opened a package today that “forced” me to put that option on the back burner.

It was the epizeuxis, the repetition of a word or phrase in immediate succession, for vehemence or emphasis, that gave away who’d sent it. But I want to thank “The Universe” for making me smile, and making up my mind for me. Guess it’s time to start writing those YouTube scripts.
